North Carolina Dental Assistants Schools - NC

To become a dental assistant, first you must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. It is important to have a solid foundation in science, including biology and health if you desire to succeed as a dental professional. You then need to choose and complete an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited Dental Assisting training course. Typically this course is one year in length though there are accelerated and alternative learning courses available to some students. North Carolina Dental Assistant Continuing Education

Dental Assistants are not required to have continuing education in North Carolina since certification is not a requirement, but it is important to note that if working as a DAII you should not let your certification lapse as you will not longer be eligible to work under that classification.
