Nutritionist School in New Hampshire
New Hampshire Nutrition Schools
To continue being a practicing nutritionist, certification is not a requirement. However, if the candidate were to obtain certification, they may be eligible for further advancement in the field. The Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association is one of the governing bodies when it comes to certification. It is from them that the candidate must obtain certification. This process is different from the statutory certification that one may also obtain. To maintain a registered status, the candidate must complete 75 credit hours in approved continuing education classes. These classes may run for a period of up to 5 years.
New Hampshire has a host of schools which are approved by the American Dietetic Association in which aspiring candidates may enroll and complete the necessary requirements. The New Hampshire Dietetic association is also a great source of information. This body also handles applications for becoming practicing nutritionists in this area as well as renewals for already practicing nutritionists.
