Some of the fundamental coursework can be completed on-line, providing students with freedom of choice for how to pursue formal education. Classroom or hands-on training will provide interesting and varied content.  MRI technician training may lead to exciting options at many Ohio hospitals including work-study programs or internships that offer incentives for further education. Motivated individuals may choose to get a preliminary radiology technician certificate and begin working while continuing further training or while completing a degree.

MRI techs will work closely with physicians and will see all types and ages of patients. Students on the job will acquire knowledge of all areas of the body and will see an endless array of medical conditions.  Strong communication skills will be essential in working with both medical staff and patients.
