Continuing Education Requirements for Pharmacy Technicians in South Carolina

The South Carolina Board of Labor, Licensing and Regulation requires all pharmacy technicians to apply for recertification at least every two years.  When you apply for recertification, you must prove that you completed 20 hours of continuing education courses through seminars, workshops and online offerings.  Of those 20 hours, eight hours must be ‘live’ participation, not online.  The SCPhA has complete listings of all continuing education opportunities throughout the state and links to registration pages.
