Public Health Education Needs in South Dakota

As you search for South Dakota public health schools, you may find that you can take a dedicated program leading up to your Masters in Public Health, or you will obtain a bachelor’s degree in a related field and add the Masters portion after. Either way you go, you want to check for accreditation of the program. The certificate in CPH is only available if you get your Post Graduate degree. Continuing Education Requirements

There are two phases of continuing education. The first is an ongoing biannual requisite that each CPH must complete. Every two years you will need to accumulate at least fifty credits in order to remain current…then once every ten years, you will experience an overall evaluation of your combined skills accumulated in that period.
