To become certified, potential candidates must complete their education along with their clinical experience and at least a year in a clinical Fellowship.

Applications can be requested by contacting the American Speech – Language – Hearing Association (ASHA). Utah differs from other states in that license holders will find their license expires on the same day ever two years. Therefore, new license holders should pay attention to the date of expiration because it may actually expire before two years have passed.
