Steps to Become a Physical Therapist Assistant in West Virginia
You may apply for the National Board Exam through FSBPT website. Select the option that is titled "Exam Application/Registration". Once you have completed this form, you will pay your application fee and send in the documentation that verifies your completion of the educational requisites.
When you have completed this process, you will be notified that you have been approved to take the exam. You should receive a letter entitled "Authorization to Test Letter".
At this time, you have sixty days to locate the most convenient Prometric Testing Center near you. If you do not receive your letter in a reasonable amount of time, contact the FSBPT to follow up. You will not be scheduled for a testing date until you have the authorization letter.
When you schedule your test, you will have to pay your testing fee at this time. Prometric will collect that fee from you.
